Trade Show Signs
Serving the West Michigan area including Grand Rapids, Grand Haven & Muskegon, Rockford, Comstock Park, Walker, MI
Every trade show exhibitor gets the same stretch of carpet and the same few seconds to stop someone walking past. The signs and graphics you bring determine whether those seconds work for you or against you. Each type of trade show sign fills a specific role in the booth, from pulling eyes across a crowded hall to anchoring a face-to-face conversation at close range. Grand Rapids Sign Company, based in Walker, MI, produces five types of trade show signs that we build to travel well, set up fast, and look sharp across multiple events.
Benefits of Trade Show Signs
Excellent marketing tool
With vehicle signage, you will easily tell your brand story to the right audience with minimal efforts. Being a mobile marketing tool, you will likely have heads turning whenever you are on the move.
Cost-efficient
Vehicle graphics are comparatively less expensive than other options, but will give you almost same or even more benefits. You get to spend less time worrying about getting your business in the face of people and instead invest same in more profitable ventures.
Durability
When properly done, vehicle graphics are strong enough to last a couple of years and usually do not require too much maintenance. Opting for vehicle graphics means you have less to worry about.
Best Trade Show Signs
Step and Repeat Banners
A step and repeat banner is a large-format fabric backdrop printed with a staggered, repeating logo pattern designed to keep your brand visible in every photo taken in front of it, regardless of how the image gets cropped. We print these on wrinkle-resistant polyester using dye-sublimation, a process that converts ink into gas and bonds it directly into the fabric weave. The finished product folds flat for shipping, resists crease marks under stage lighting, and washes in a standard machine between events without fading. We finish edges with pole pockets or grommets depending on whether the banner hangs from a portable frame or clips into a pipe-and-drape structure.
Banner Stands
A retractable banner stand stores its printed graphic inside a spring-loaded base cassette and deploys in under a minute with no loose parts or tools. We build these with wide-foot aluminum bases engineered to stay planted on both convention carpet and polished concrete, because a stand that tips in foot traffic defeats the purpose of having one. The graphic panel detaches from the cassette mechanism, so refreshing the artwork for a new show or a messaging update means reprinting one panel and snapping it back in. Every unit ships inside a padded nylon carry bag sized to fit overhead bins or checked luggage.
A-Frame Signs
An A-frame is a hinged, freestanding, double-sided display that sits on the floor and reads from both ends of an aisle. We build ours with a locking hinge that holds the panels at a stable angle, and each side accepts a removable insert in corrugated plastic or rigid PVC. Those inserts slide out in seconds, which means you can run different messaging on each face or rotate promotions between events without replacing the frame itself. The whole unit folds flat and fits inside the booth kit case alongside the rest of the signage.
Backlit Displays
A backlit display pairs an edge-lit LED panel with a translucent fabric face to create a glowing graphic that pulls attention from across an expo floor in ways a standard flat print can’t match. We use SEG frames, where a thin silicone bead sewn around the perimeter of the fabric presses into a precision channel on the aluminum frame. The result is a drum-tight surface with no visible clips, velcro, or sagging edges. The LED panels run cool and draw minimal wattage, so they operate all day without a dedicated circuit or any heat buildup behind the graphic.
Pipe and Drape
A pipe-and-drape system provides the structural skeleton of most trade show booths, with vertical uprights and horizontal crossbars supporting fabric panels that define your boundaries. We turn that framework into a branding surface by printing custom fabric panels using the same dye-sublimation process as our backdrops, then clipping them directly onto the crossbars. Drape color matches to your brand palette so the entire booth perimeter reinforces your identity instead of disappearing into the convention center’s default curtain setup.
Your Booth Sells Before Your Team Opens Their Mouth
