Vehicle WRAPS
Serving the West Michigan area including Grand Rapids, Grand Haven & Muskegon, Rockford, Comstock Park, Walker, MI
People call us asking about a wrap, and that single word covers five separate products. Working out which one somebody means takes the first few minutes of most calls. Here at Grand Rapids Sign Company, we print and install vehicle wrap graphics out of our Walker shop. Coverage turns out to be the first real decision anybody makes, and it lands before color or artwork ever comes up. Everything below sorts the five apart so you can reach that decision before you pick up the phone.

Benefits of Vehicle WRAPS
Your vehicle earns while parked and while moving
A wrapped vehicle sitting in a customer’s driveway gets seen by everybody on that street. The same vehicle gets seen again by every driver it passes on the way back to the shop. A wrap keeps working in both situations without anybody doing anything to make that happen.
The paint underneath stays covered
Printed film with a laminate over it absorbs the sun and the road grit that would otherwise land on your finish. The panel underneath stays the color and condition it was on the day we wrapped it. Owners who plan to sell or return a vehicle later tend to weigh that heavily.
Your vehicles start looking like one company
A single layout repeated across every unit reads as an organization rather than as a handful of separate trucks. Somebody who passes two of your vehicles in the same week registers them as connected without trying to. That recognition builds on its own, one route at a time.
Best Vehicle WRAPS
Full Wraps
Full coverage means every painted panel disappears under printed film, seams and all. We plan where those seams land so they follow the body lines instead of cutting across your artwork. Cast film handles the stretching that recesses and rivet lines demand, which is what keeps the graphics down over the long haul. Box trucks and cargo vans suit full coverage well, since their large panels leave artwork room to work at a distance.
Partial Wraps
Partial coverage puts film on the panels people look at and leaves the remaining paint showing. Your factory color then becomes one of the design colors rather than something to cover up. Pickups often work well this way, since the doors and bed sides carry most of the message anyway.
Perforated Window Wraps
Perforated film carries small holes across its entire surface, so people inside the vehicle see out through it. From the street the graphic reads as solid, because the outside stays brighter than the interior during daylight. That effect reverses after dark once the interior lights come on. Rear windows on vans and box trucks are where we install this film most often.
Color Change Wraps
Color change wrap covers a vehicle in a finish rather than in printed artwork. Applied and removed according to the film maker’s instructions and inside the warranty period, it comes off factory paint without harming the finish underneath. Leased vehicles bring people to us for this more than anything else, since the wrap comes off before the vehicle goes back.
Camouflage Wraps
Camouflage wrap arrives as printed film in a pattern, and the laminate choice changes the whole look of the finished vehicle. A matte laminate reads tactical and realistic, while a gloss laminate reads more like a show truck. Laminate isn’t optional outdoors either way, since that layer carries the UV load for the print underneath. Outfitters and guide services ask about camouflage more than anyone, and a pattern hides trail dust well on a truck that gets used hard.
